About Me!

Jessie Villarreal is a New York City based makeup artist specializing in character design.

From an extremely early age Jessie was very observant and had a very creative mind and utilized her creativity in various ways. At around the age of Two she would find anything around the house to draw with and use anything as a canvas a whether it be paper, her bedroom walls, furniture or even her twin sister. As Jessie grew a little older she had become so intrigued with the use of Makeup,Beauty,Avant Garde and Spelcial Effects.She would always watch Horror and Sci-Fi films and absolutely loved all of the creations made in these films. After watching a start to finish Horror film character application she became even more fascinated with the combination of creativity, techniques, and of course the transformation.Since that moment Jessie knew that Makeup was what she wanted to pursue.

Jessie attended the Makeup Designory (MUD) School in New York City completing the Master’s Program. This program was extremely diverse. She started off from setting the groundwork of corrective makeup ,after creating modern and period studio hairstyles, to designing makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots ,then from injury and aging makeup applications to creating her own full prosthetic  characters. In this 812 hour intense training Jessie was very prepared to get out in the real world to start off finding entry level work in all areas taught to her then working her way up in this Industry.

Jessie looks forward to bringing her passion to life, and continuously learning as much as she possibly can as her career evolves. She wants to bring all of her creativity, enthusiasm, commitment, determination and skill to continue to create mind blowing makeups and become an inspiration to younger aspiring  makeup artists.
